I specialize in treating anxiety and its associated symptoms. These symptoms are often clearly connected to the underlying anxiety, though sometimes the link may not be immediately apparent. However, hypnotherapy can be used in several areas, such as: performance improvement (e.g., exams, public speaking, etc.); phobias (e.g., animals, heights); general work-related stress or lack of assertiveness; social anxiety (e.g., speaking in meetings or presentations); habit change (e.g., nail-biting, hair-pulling); general confidence improvement; and boosting motivation.

My background and approach to therapy

I am  a registered Clinical and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist (CBH) both in USA and UK and I hold a bachelor of science in psychology degree from Switzerland.

My Background

Before becoming a CBT hypnotherapist, I worked as a project manager for international civil society organizations. In my previous career, I developed an in-depth understanding of the United Nations system, with a focus on promoting peace, human rights, gender equality, and children's rights. Beside all of that, aside from my home country, Turkey, I have lived in Switzerland, Jordan, and am currently based in the USA. Living and working in multiple countries has equipped me with strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills, allowing me to connect effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Whether through professional collaborations or personal relationships, I take pride in fostering meaningful global connections. During my time moving between countries, I decided to pursue a second bachelor’s degree in psychology, which led me to change careers and become a CBT hypnotherapist.

My Approach to Therapy

What excites me about Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is the powerful combination of two evidence-based techniques: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy. I understand that each person’s journey is unique. Having worked in international environments, I bring a compassionate and tailored approach to therapy. My mission is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can work together to address your personal goals. My approach is not just about alleviating immediate symptoms—it’s about equipping you with the tools and strategies necessary to create long-term change. I believe in fostering a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy, ensuring that you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the process.
